Dublin-based Solar AdTek, the leading developer and supplier of innovative solar powered lighting for outdoor advertising has completed an upgrade of 1,800 bus shelter units across Ireland and significantly decreased their carbon emissions.
With innovative technology that uses solar power and LED lighting to illuminate bus shelters and advertising displays, Dublin technology start-up Solar AdTek is aiming to make a breakthrough in global markets this year.
This evening, Tony McEnroe of SiriusXT was presented with the inaugural Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) “Founder of the Year Award”, supported by Grant Thornton at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin 1. Eoin O’Broin of Solar AdTek were recognised and received awards as runners-up on the night.
Along with over 30 other Irish companies, I travelled to this lovely part of the world to investigate the market for our solar and LED products as part of an Enterprise Ireland Ministerial Trade Mission.
